* I watched the premier of "Jockeys" yesterday from Animal Planet... and I'm totally engrossed. It is such a different perspective from Santa Anita then sitting up there in the club loge section! I highly recommend it. I used to joke about Aaron Gryder, but I have a new respect for him after seeing the show. Plus, I'm obsessed with catching a glimpse of us in the stands. he he!

* It has been raining for days here. The Magpie has a party to go to today at our neighbor's house, so I'm hoping it'll hold off long enough to let them enjoy. More rain tomorrow too. It's quite a bit colder, and my mom's coming Wednesday to visit, so I feel a bit bad since she was trying to escape the snow and the cold. But it'll be nice for us to spend time with her anyway.
It's a four day week for us with the President's Day holiday coming up on Friday. Then we'll celebrate the boy's 6th birthday! I can't believe it.

Yesterday, the Magpie handed me an envelope to open. Inside was a card he wrote himself. It said, "I lave Mon and bad". I thought it was awesome!
